Located in the municipality of São João Mata, on the north coast of Bahia, the Costa do Sauipe is one of the main tourist destinations in Brazil. The resort offers plenty of options for fun, entertainment, culture and sports for all ages. To ensure that its national and international visitors feel completely comfortable, the resort has five hotels and five senior lodges: Premium Sauipe, Sauipe Club, Class Sauipe, Sauipe Park, Sauipe Sauipe Fun and Inns. A total of 1564 apartments are available, and besides the offer of accommodation, entertainment and nature, Costa do Sauipe is the only resort in the country that has extensive infrastructure for conventions, with total capacity up to 3,200 people.
For children, there is the Sauípe Kids - an area of 4,000 square meters with capacity for up to 800 children from 4 to 12 years. And of course if you want to relax you'll have no problem, with 20 pools, 24 bars and a large sports center with a golf course with 18 holes, 15 tennis courts, spa, sports courts, and a nautical zone. All the Complexo do Sauipe is located in an Environmental Protection area that preserves kilometers of mangroves, salt marshes, dunes, rivers, freshwater lagoons, coconut groves and stretches of the Atlantic Forest. It's the perfect place to relax with your family and enjoy a taste of paradise!
The lodging in Morro de Sao Paulo can be divided in two types, by the sea and quite busy, or those inland, usually on higher ground, quieter. I chose the Hummingbird Inn, which seems very promising, and then delivered even more. The Hummingbird Inn lived up to his name, at breakfast there were the hummingbirds sipping the flowers, and a very small group of monkeys ve came to take their breakfast of bananas. The owners are a German couple ve fell in love with the island 20 years ago, stayed and opened the inn in order to keep in touch with nature and provide a relaxing environment. The hammock in front of each room is a good way to relax. At dusk it is recommend getting to the nearest beach, about 10 minutes away and secluded, for a spectacular sunset
This is a lovely, idyllic paradise. It was a truly memorable stay for us, a couple looking for peace and quiet. We found what we wanted and more. The hotel has 10 bungalows that are carefully decorated by the friendly owner of the hotel. The property is strategically located in a beautiful tropical garden and is perfectly safe. The room service and service were impeccable. They are attentive and discreet, not to mention the high quality kitchen. We enjoyed an unforgettable romantic candlelit dinner on the beach. It was simply excellent. The hotel has a quiet, almost deserted beach, with white sand and palm trees. I enthusiastically recommend this hotel. Really fantastic!
The Pousada Estrela D Water (Porto Seguro - Bahia - Brazil) is located in the beautiful town of Trancoso, one hour from Porto Seguro, facing la playa de Nativos (the beach of natives). It has 28 suites with air conditioning, safe, TV, DVD , minibar and balcony. The hotel also has a pool and spa, plasma TV and home theater. Buffet breakfast is also available.
The Villa dos Corais Hotel, is situated in an ecological environment between two beaches on the island of Tinharé, Morro de São Paulo, Bahia - Brazil. The best thing about the island is that there are no cars. In an attempt to achieve an ecological environment there are only 4 or 5 cars that belong to the hotels ... The Villa dos Corais has the entire infrastructure for a great vacation. The rooms are bungalows, mostly with sea views and plenty of space. The breakfasts are wonderful and can prove that they provide the best culinary experience in the bay. For example, their coconut couscous, biju with dulce de leche cake aipim (cassava), etc. .. Besides the pool, the hotel has a restaurant on the beach, a video club, shop, a lounge area to relax, a shuttle every hour to the village (although you can go on foot - 10 minutes from the beach) and the staff are very kind. Highly recommended!
Victor and Jess are two Spaniards who came to Boipeba on "Ticket to Brazil," a reality show where the challenge was to rebuild an abandoned inn and make it work. The won, and have continued with Luar das Aguas, a charming inn opposite the beach. It has a beautiful waterfront restaurant and a few rooms surrounding a lovely internal courtyard. The best thing about it? It's just ten steps from the sea.
When we arrived at Salvador, we took a taxi from the airport; it cost 107 dollars to get to the hotel. It's a 5-star hotel located in one of Salvador's main streets, halfway between the city centre and the beaches. In general, it's quiet, with beautiful views and great services (pool bar, restaurant, room service ...). The ideal place to go for your holiday.
Located in Pelourinho, Salvador's most central neighbourhood, in an old yellow house, hence the name. The roms are spotless, some with a jacuzzi, and the breakfast is delicious. Try to get here on a Tuesday, when the neighbourhood is full of concerts, and the nearby church - the Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Rosario dos Pretos - holds its famous celebrations.
The Hotel Transamerica Ilha Comandatuba is the best alternative for a luxurious and leisurely stay in Brazil. Located in the southern state of Bahia Brazil, just a short distance from sophistication, ecology, comfort, tranquillity, privacy and fun. With 21 miles of beach, coconut trees and tropical gardens, you will have some fabulous scenery to admire. It is an ideal place to relax and to find all the facilities you'll need to practice water sports, golf courses, spa, kids club and 80 other different activities.
This hotel is located near the beach of Barra, in a quiet street. There's no sign outside, so it's easy to miss. It has a few private rooms, but the majority are shared, with between 9 and 15 beds. One flaw: no air conditioning, only fans. Breakfast and linen are included, and they also rent out swimsuits. There's a nice area to eat at the back. It has wifi, and a very friendly staff. A night in a dorm costs about $30.
This is one of the most charming hotels in Pelourinho, in an excellent tourist spot. The decor is refined and tasteful, with plenty to please even the most demanding customers, with a sauna, jacuzzi, games room, and more. The rooms are spacious at good prices, with air conditioning.
In the Brazilian city of Itacare we find the Txai Resort, which sports a modern and renovated feel due to the recent refurbishment which has taken place. Its location is perfect because it is surrounded by a large green area and just opposite it is a private beach paradise. It has fully equipped bedrooms with exemplary service, worthy of a 5 star hotel.
It was a delight to spend all season there, so good that we want to return. A nice, simple chalet, that met our expectations; clean, neat and tidy, with a good bed, good shower, and a plasma TV. Breakfast is served almost on the beach, and it's also very nice. The beach is in Estrada da Balsa and it's not busy. Near the hotel are dining options, and it's easy to reach the centre.
This small, simple, and cozy inn, which looks like a dollhouse, is next to the Arraial d'Ajuda church, on a super colorful street with fantastic views. Valentino, the owner, seems to have come without many capitalists ideals, and welcomes guests with peace of mind, typical of village entrepreneurs. For those who want to combine economy with lush landscaping, there's nothing better than to opt to stay in a centennial and cozy home.
A simple, and very cozy guesthouse near Balsa Arraial d 'Ajuda, a few meters from the famous gateway of alcohol. The Solar do Praça has small rooms for the guests, some with small terraces overlooking the sea opposite, besides tasty breakfast and the best thing is the cheap rates, keep that in mind.
The owners are prolific travelers, and have a shop where almost everything they sell is imported from Bali. The hotel has a lovely Asian-style decor, but the best thing about it is the breakfast of homemade pastries, fresh juices, and stuffed tapioca. Delicious!
A simple and welcoming hotel, with great service and delicious breakfasts. Located in central Porto Seguro, it is just metres from the beach, and close to restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies. The hotel has its own parking and free wireless internet (Wi-Fi).
This is a good choice if you want a cozy, tasteful, and very conveniently-priced option. The inn offers excellent service, with well-decorated apartments with a spacious en suite bathroom, swimming pool, gym and quiet public areas. The rooms are clustered around a beautiful garden displaying Atlantic Forest species, offering freshness, beauty, and privacy to the guests. Breakfast is varied, and is served by the owner.
