It is a big place! I liked it. My room was lovely with views of the waterfall, illuminated by sunlight in the morning. The bathrooms are very big and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great because you can pick what you want, also it is included in the price of housing, which I think is good. Very clean and friendly place. I could relax and have some pleasant moments. I spent most of the time in the pool which is very nice. Service is first, all of the staff looked after me as if I were at home! ....... A place to remember and return on my next vacation!
I am a frequent customer of the hostel, I have always received first-class attention. It has all the basic facilities, and is very efficient and professional. They make me feel at home, give me all the confidence which makes me feel safe. Therefore I recommend to those who are visiting Quito staying at the hostel is in the old city center. The old center is a different experience. I've always liked being in a place where I'm filled with emotions, but also this is a modern city and for those who like that kind of fun it is very close. I personally like the old city because you live in a world of the past with the old architecture, and more than that I'm a fan of Ecuadorian culture.
A good option if you're looking for cheap accommodation in Quito. It is in a quiet area, very close to the Mariscal district (the district of restaurants, bars, etc). All rooms have a private bath, and are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good, and the owner, Elena, who previously worked in the ministry of tourism, is always ready to help with anything you need. It was a pleasure to spend time chatting with her.
A spa hotel, various room rates, from just over $ 6 per person this is is medium-high because you can not find room for less than 25 or 30 dollars per person, but you have the thermal baths 20m from the hotel, waterfall Bridal Veil in front, the village right around the corner and so you just have to think after taking your breakfast (included in room rate) where in the city you are going, what to do on that day, whether to go to the falls, the Tungurahua, the zoo, to rent a bike or buggy or whatever you like... This place is so appealing to visit.
The Hosteria Agoyán can be found in a nature preserve that's important to the tourism industry in Ecuador. The climate here is a mixture of wet and cold on certain days. You'll have access not only to spectacular views of the route of the waterfalls, but also to many types of extreme sports: Pastaza River Rafting, canyoning, rappeling, bridge jumping, just to name a few. The facilities are very nice and have a contrast between the sober - modern and rustic. It features a spa, drawer baths, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, etc.. At night you can access tours of the area illuminated waterfalls, and a visit to the city of Bath and his church "Virgen de Agua Santa". One of the attractions of the area, is the Tungurahua volcano currently active.
It was a quiet evening at the hotel, with a beautiful ocean view as usual. Suddenly, the tide rose to just a few meters from the shore, as if it wanted to visit the park with the playground and pool, or give us a welcome with a cool breeze. But it never got that far. In just minutes, it was back to normal. Something silly, but for me, I really wanted one last dip on my last day of vacation.
Farallon dillon is a small hotel in Ballenita, high on a spectacular beach, which in turn is a naval museum (the owner, during his years as a Merchant Mariner, collected thousands of objects, there is also a large replica of a Spanish vessel which sank in that area). It has 9 bedrooms (3 of them in the style of the Lighthouse of Stockholm) and it also has wonderful views of the Pacific, and, depending on the season, you can see the whales on their migration. It has catering, chapel, swimming pool with sea views ... The deal is fantastic and the place really impressed me.
I arrived a month ago at Hostal Jhomana because a friend recommended it to a friend. I looked for info on the internet and found that it had Swedish owners, and that it was well located and had good references. This helped me plan my trip to Ecuador and South America. Patrick the owner recommended to me places known only to the locals. Everyone who works there is great and the rooms are fine and most importantly clean. The location is very good, 15 min to historical center and 20 to the airport. La Plaza Foch, where it all happens, is 6 or 7 blocks from Jhomana. The experience was good and that's why I recommend it.
I was here along with two friends for the first and last days of our visit to wonderful Ecuador. It was like being at home. The owners cannot do enough and they take care to keep you comfortable. The room was very spacious, the bathroom maybe a little small but we barely noticed thanks to the rest of the service. Breakfast is enough to start the day: fruit, juice, eggs, bread, cereal, yoghurt, coffee. I quite liked the location: Florida, a quiet neighborhood from which you can walk to dinner. I have only words of thanks to the owners: thank you for your service and for caring. Highly recommended!
The hotels on offer in Alausí are not good. This hotel is the best option. It certainly is good, cheap and also if you contact the hotel before going you can request tickets for The Devil's Nose. We had to ask them to buy them for us, we could not make the transfer and they trusted us to pay later. They were very nice.
Community Hostel People are the most friendly, great, and helpful in all the places I've seen. They cook dinner and breakfast. Their food is amazing and does not cost much. They know everything I need to know. The hostel is a house of a friend more than a hostel. Look at the web site! I love Community Hostel.
We really felt at home in this hotel, the infinite kindness of the owners makes it seemlike you have known them all your life. The house is like a museum, it's worth going if only to visit and I'm pretty sure you'll be well received. A very interesting option in this beautiful city.
The Hotel Plaza Grande has a great location right in the Plaza de la Independencia, the city's central square. The spot was originally home to the Guarderas family, and it's a wonderful location which offers a truly breathtaking view of the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the old domes of ancient churches, and the Municipal Palace. Yes, it's a luxury hotel with a rather exclusive clientele, but you can always just go for a coffee.
It bills itself as a hostel, but it's actually a beautiful boutique hotel in Mariscal, the neighbourhood which boasts the best nightlife in the city. Despite this, the hotel has a very calm and relaxed atmosphere, making it ideal for a rest. It has a beautiful garden and a charming living room with a fireplace, ideal for reading or chatting with the owners (a couple, English and Italian) or other travelers. The rooms, some with a small private garden, are very comfortable and pretty. The staff are friendly, and there are luxury hotel services, like breakfast any time you want, even in the middle of the night. The restaurant serves authentic Italian food - delicious! Breakfast is spectacular, with fresh ingredients, and delicious artisan bread.
If you are looking for a good place to sleep and wind down after touring the city of Quito you can go to this hotel restaurant, located in a very sublime colonial house and completely surrounded by colourful trees in bloom. When we walked through the small garden behind the large wrought iron gate, to the left is a decent library which you only see in old movies. On the right, the small dining room, which offers several small and typical Ecuadorian gourmet meals. And opposite us, the big wooden staircase leads to the spacious, comfortable rooms of the hotel part of Cafe Culture. A must in the capital!
Backpackers Quito is perfect if you want to stay in a lively part of town near bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Located just blocks from the famous Plaza Foch, the hostel has private rooms and dormitories and breakfast is included in the rate. The hostel also has wi-fi and a computer are. Ideal place to stay during your visit to the Ecuadorian capital!
The Albemarle Hotel is located in Puerto Villamil, the most beautiful and tranquil island in the Galapagos. Its location is excellent as in front you can find a beautiful white sandy beach. Once there you can enjoy a luxurious, warm and inviting environment. In the rooms we will find beautiful marble accents.
A great experience in providing accommodation Hostal Fevilamir Ibarra. The hoitel is located in the center near the central markets, public transportation. It's all brand new as it has been recently renovated, family friendly and it's attention, cleanliness and comfort make it unique.
