We arrived at this hotel after 10 hours of driving from Britain under a steady rain, which made me extremely tired continually watching the wipers. My intention had been to get to sleep in Spain, but it was impossible. It was ten at night and despite having stopped a few times along the way, my legs weighed a ton and my eyelids were heavy, so we found this place by GPS. Like all IBIS hotels, it was lacking luxury, but the cleanliness and a warm bed helped to remove all evil. The dining room was closed and there were no restaurants open in town, but from previous experience, we knew to always travel with food in the cooler with ham, sausage, beer and bread, so we just ate in our room. Our adventures and misadventures in Europe have taught us that you don't need a "LUXURY HOTEL" to rest, we just settle for somewhere clean and safe.
