The Venetian Macao Hotel is one of the largest casinos in the world and one of the greatest moneymaking spots in the city. When I was there I was pleasantly surprised from the beginning because it was impressive to see that, in the gardens, and in the interiors of the hotel, there are canals with gondolas and, moreover, the gondoliers sing in Italian because many of them are actually from Italy. The interior of the hotel is impressive and complex. There are entire shopping streets under the clear skies whose roofs or domes emulate palaces and cathedrals, walls that seem drawn from the Venice buildings more and all kinds of shops restaurants and entertainment are hiding among them. The downside is that it is a little out of the center but, if you don't spend the night there, you can visit and, in my opinion, it's worth spending a few hours there.
The Hotel Casa Real hotel has 400 rooms and 3 restaurants in the bustle of Macau and close to the ferry terminal. It belongs to the chain of Golden Resorts Group and try to keep the Portuguese colonial style in its architecture and interior. My visit there was very pleasant. The service is impeccable, the room in which I stayed (Junior Suite) was very good (the wing of the building in which I stayed was completely remodeled) and the buffet breakfast was very good too. The Internet (wired) was included in the room rate (from 60Euros per night).
The Hotel Royal is a classic of this former Portuguese colony, a place with good atmosphere, comfortable and attention to detail. With a splendid service, big rooms and all the amenities needed. The internet is free in the rooms with cable. The only fault I find is that the rooms could be brighter and glimpses of the hotel does not are beautiful (give buildings under renovation or works, as it is located in an older area of the city). The location is also a problem, being a little off, but has free buses every half hour to (and from) the Ferry Terminal, with optional stops in the city center. It also has two direct daily connections on a free bus to the Venetian Hotel.
The Grand Lapa Hotel was formerly known as Mandarin Hotel. It is at a strategic point of Macao, near the casino and the ferry terminal and the [poi = 107361] racetrack [/ poi]. Spa, swimming pools, restaurants of different varieties of food (Cantonese, Thai, Western ...). The rooms are not bad and the breakfast is good and varied.

The MGM Grand Macau is located in the important city of Macau, and it is located at the top of the city. After the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, we went to Macao for a few days. This hotel has lots of charm, but it's not a patch on the Hong Kong branch. It's conveniently located right next to a luxury shopping mall (Bulgari, Chanel, Dior, Prada, Loewe ...) and a few steps from the Las Vegas-style casinos. It's a bit lacking in atmosphere. We had snacks at the bar, and ate at the Vida Rica restaurant: lovely food, but there weren't many diners. The service at least was impeccable.
