An ancient Kauri wood house, perfectly preserved, with a garden, barbecue, tables, solarium and hammocks, all at a very moderate prices. The owner Craig, is a long-distance traveler, and organizes visits to the Pinnacles.
It is a mountain lodge with 80 beds, 4 hours of a gruelling uphill walk from the visitor centre. It is the perfect place to relax before tackling the final climb to the pinnacles, which are clearly visible from the lodge. It also serves as a base for walkers who make their rounds several times per days in the valley.
