This is a great hostel, in fact, it's one of the best hostels in the world. It's a former jail, downtown, near the stations of the city center, dspone bar and room to be relaxing, reading, drinking a beer, the decor is very cool, prices as a hostel in Western Europe, some rooms are old cells, very interesting
One of the best campsites, not just for the value but for the services in general. The bathrooms are large and clean, there's free wifi in the cafe, a minimarket (open 7:30 to 11) and supermarket (7:30 to 8pm), laundry service ... there's no pool, but it has a kind of water park next to the campsite, with hot tubs, water jets and several relaxation areas, and it's half-price if you're staying here, so 6.50 for adults and 4.50 for children. You can easily visit the city by public transport. 100m away from the campsite you'll find a bus stop, and Line 6 runs every 10 minutes or 20 on Sundays. You can buy the ticket at the reception for 80 cents. GPS coordinates according to its website: N 46 ° 05 952 E 014 ° 31.094 According to our GPS: N 46 ° 05,852 'E 14 ° 31.055
The farm is situated on a hill overlooking Ljubljana and the Julian Alps. It's a 10 minute drive from the city center, but it's worthwhile. Advance booking is recommended since it only has 5 bedrooms (4 doubles and a single) all well equipped with bathroom, toilet, TV and refrigerator. Breakfast is also included (also recommended) because it is not the typical hotel breakfast buffet. They offer you a large selection of artisan farm products (apple cider and apple juice) typical of the region. They also have a lunch menu, where locals go for celebrations or to have a picnic. The room + breakfast cost around 30 euros. On the farm they do not speak Spanish, but if you speak or English, German, Croatian or Slovenian you can be understood. To get here, you have to follow a road parallel to the railway line from Ljubljana to Cart Podgraska and up a steep dirt road to the farm (it is a bit isolated from the village, about 2km). I hope you enjoy your stay if you choose to go here a few nights to visit Slovenia as it is a very beautiful country.
This hotel is very well-located. In any case, the historic centre of Ljubljana isn't too big, but as you come out of the hotel, you'll almost immediately find youreslf in Preseren Square, facing the Triple Bridge. The building is historic, very large and with paid parking. The rooms are very comfortable, but not too attractive. The atmosphere is decent and old style.
This hotel is located just a few steps from the historical centre of Ljubljana. It's a real find - besides being centrally located, it has very spacious, comfortable rooms, and a bar in the reception area and a nightclub in the basement which is open at weekends. They offer very good service, with a bottle of water on arrival. The only drawback is that the hotel doesn't have a lift, so make a note of that in your booking if you have a heavy suitcase and request a room on the first floor. Highly recommended.
It is a 4 * at the price of a 3 * hotel. It is centrally located, so you can go strolling around Preseren Square and the city center. The hotel has 71 cozy rooms with friendly reception staff besides that it offers free WiFi in the rooms and also a mini-bar. The hotel facilities also include a sauna, gym and indoor pool. Although the hotel does not have its own car park there is one public car park next to the hotel. Opposite the hotel is the city police station.
If you want a good, nice and cheap place to stay in Ljubljana, then the DIC Hostel is the place for you. It's a student residence where a double room is €17.5/night. It is also situated 5 minutes walk from the city center.
The Garni Hotel is situated in central Slovenia in Ljubljana. This hotel is smack dab in the middle of Ljubljana. It's a nice, friendly place within a few steps from the bus stop and the railway station, 500m from the center of Old Town Centre and the City. This hotel has a parking.
This hotel is very new, very central, and has a good restaurant. The staff were excellent. Upon arrival, they had about four charming, polite guys available to help us take the luggage, park the car, find a plug for the computer, and so on. The rooms are very modern, really clean and spacious. The only problem with the hotel is that it is very quiet. It has beautiful cocoon-effect lamps in the rooms - I wanted to buy one!
