We were on our way down to Andalusia and only stayed here for one night, but we loved this hotel for its location, for the staff's service and also for the room, which was comfortable and spacious with a hot tub. We ate on the terrace and we visited the Royal Palace, which is very nearby. There are lots of terraces for "taperias" on the nearby streets. Aranjuez is a beautiful city worth a stop.
This hotel is in the middle of Aranjuez. From here, you can walk anywhere. It's a clean and spacious three-star hotel. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast buffet has a pretty good variety. The only downfall is that the AC doesn't work out of season, so if you stay there in March and it's hot, you can only open the window to cool the room. They did offer to change our room and showed us the other vacant rooms so we could choose which one we wanted.
The NH Principe de la Paz Hotel is in the historic centre of Aranjuez, opposite the Royal Palace. It's in an 18th century building. It offers modern rooms with satellite TV, free WiFi, AC, and a pillow menu. Some have views of the Royal Palace. The central courtyard is quiet and has umbrellas, chairs and tables. It's close to the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, the bullring, the Barge Museum and the Prince's Garden. Casa del Labrador is another point of interest in the vicinity.
This is a cozy hotel with a perfect location in the old town of Aranjuez, which has been declared a World Heritage Site. With a rustic and antique décor, the building has sought to respect the surroundings and its integration in the beautiful countryside. Though it has been refurbished, it still retains all the traditional architecture.
