We took these pictures during our last stay at the hotel. The buffet has lots of items like fresh juices, and it is placed on a stone table in a spot with spectacular views of the garden. The weather didn't allow us to use the pool, as it's not heated, but has a large area for sunbathing and drinks menu. The best part of the hotel is definitely the views, you can see through the trees to the lighthouse museum of the sea.
The hotel is comfortable and above all, it is in a great spot (in the center of Vigo) and staff treatment, offers highly personalized attention. The facilities are great, and the hotel gives you a great sense of harmony. It mixes modern decor that has combined the ethnic and oriental, making it an attractive place and very zen, and everyone wants to try the spa. Practically everything that passes through your head you can have it at the hotel spa, they have a myriad of treatments and massages, with daily promotions, and package sessions. The rooms are luxurious with endless details and amenities that will cause you to not want to go home.

The Hotel Ciudad de Vigo has 101 fully renovated rooms, including double rooms, rooms with king-size beds of 2m, suites, junior suites and living rooms with up to 80m2. All the rooms have satellite TV, minibar, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning, security locks and other amenities such as free wireless internet. The bathrooms are marble and the various rooms have a bath tub, shower or multi-function sauna. For your convenience, both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.
I stayed at this hotel on one of my visits to Vigo, in July 2007. It is a 3 star, and part of the Sercotel chain, ideally located in the financial and commercial heart of the city, next to the Corte Ingles department store. It is a multi-story building accessed up a few stair, as the street on which it stands slopes steeply. In the area it's virtually impossible to find parking, but the hotel has underground parking (7.50 € per day) where you can park as long as your car is not too large, because the access ramp is very narrow. Be aware that maneuvering in and out can be a bit difficult.
The reception area is quite spacious, with a desk, a lobby area with sofas (where tourist brochures are on offer), and access to the cafe and restaurant, which is open to the general public. Unfortunately, the staff we encountered weren't very friendly, and when we arrived, we had to wait quite a while for them to organise our check-in. The room was quite nice, spacious with two king size beds, a closet with two shelves, satellite tv, luggage racks, and a desk with a book about tourism in Galicia. The furniture was dark wood contrasting with the curtains and duvets in garnet tones. There were radiators for heating, and air conditioning, but there was no thermostat, and we assumed it was controlled centrally.
The room overlooked a courtyard, so we had a horrible view (the street isn't particularly special, either), but in return, we didn't hear any noise from the street. There are shutters so we slept like babies! The bathroom was also quite spacious and well-lit, acrylic with a large bath, wc and wash basin set into a marble plateau. The hot water came out perfectly and with a lot of pressure. We also had a hairdryer and a complete set of toiletries - toothpaste, shaving cream, shower cap, sewing kit, kleenex, soap and gel packets. We found only one problem - a broken plug socket. I noticed that each room has a separate electrical box behind the door.
The breakfast buffet was included in the price of the room, and was pretty good and varied, consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts, cheeses, toast, croissant, yogurt, juice and fruit pieces. The coffee was served by the waiter, but he left table a jug on the table to help yourself as you wanted. The breakfast room was in the cafe, but in a separate area reserved for hotel guests. Overall, I quite liked this hotel. It is conveniently located in the city centre, from where you can walk anywhere, and the quality : price ratio was good (we paid € 65 plus VAT for a double room with breakfast included).
The hotel is a two star Recamar we found next to the train station, with a good price / performance ratio with respect to its location. The highlights are the friendly service and wi-fi in all roms. Yes, from the third floor, it is very difficult to get a decent signal. Even though the hotel appears old, it is classically decorated and simply furnished but comfortable and fair according to their category. For more details, do not fail to watch the video.
A good choice in Vigo! The last time I was in the city of Vigo, I stayed at Hotel Coia de Vigo, which is conveniently located near the most important places of the city, so I consider it a good option in Vigo. The only fault I noticed is that even though it was recently reformed, it really is quite old or as they say retains its traditional flavor. Although I consider the price appropriate for its quality. I recommend it to anyone. I easily got to the markets, without needing to move my car from the lot.
Great hotel great location, very friendly and very qualified staff, very modern and comfortable rooms, full buffet breakfast with great, high-quality, varied products! Highly recommended Hotel and next to the nightlife!
This hotel is Ideally located at the foot of the roundabout (Gran Vía) that organizes the whole city, and that leads directly to the center of the city, however, it is still relatively easy to park here. Personal attention is great. Rooms: comfortable and pleasant. Very clean. Quality / Price: highly recommended. They usually have online offers.

It is located in the heart of the city of Vigo, near the train station and bus stop (which takes you to the airport). The hostel has a total of 6 rooms which have now been refurbished, all with en-suite bathrooms. There are single and double rooms, all with minibar, internet ADSL-WIFI, safe, TV and heating.
This hotel has just opened its doors after being remodeled. It was really very good. It has a very modern lobby with a greatly improved image. The rooms are beautiful, as well as spacious and well maintained. The staff give very good treatment. Besides the structural improvements, this hotel is also very well located, so if you are travelling on business or with family or friends, it's easy to explore Vigo. I highly recommend it.
The three B's, bueno(good), bonito (nice) and barato (cheap) but also centrinc. The best things are the views of the river, breakfast and the staff. The worst things are road works on the streets of Vigo, but what city today doesn't have road works? Highly Recommended.
Located in the center of Vigo next to El Corte Ingles, Elliptical Square Mall and five minutes from cinemas and shops. It offers rooms with bath or shower, heating and air conditioning. There are non-smoking rooms, free wifi for customers, paid parking, TV, a restaurant-cafe, and cots available for children.
I think this was the 1st hotel I stayed in Vigo, the 1st time I went to visit the city and, even with the reviews I read, I had a good stay. It is a 3 star hotel, which is in the C / Alfonso XIII, a few steps from the train station, the English Court, and the financial and commercial center. The harbor and historic area are a bit further away, but you can walk in 10-15 minutes. I love Vigo but it always seemed to have chaotic, so it is best to walk whenever possible, in the area is virtually impossible to park, but there is a parking (outdoors, even for a fee) at the station train 30 meters. The building in which the hotel is located on 6 floors. Not new, but the rooms and inside it were being remodeled in 2006, when I was in it. Fleeing from the noise, and as the street that is has no panoramic view, I asked (as I do) an interior room (I recommend it, because the street is quite noisy). Overlooked the inner courtyard, but the truth, this was not very wide and low light entering through the small window of my room. The room I was assigned the already remodeled, so I was great and very comfortable. It was quite large with a queen bed, her wardrobe, desk, tv, etc.. The bed was very comfortable, with a hard mattress, and dark wood furniture. The bathroom, brand new, with great lighting, all kinds of amenities, bathtub, modern glass top in which was embedded the sink. Both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. It had a restaurant, café, computer with internet, central heating and even even a pillow menu. It cost me about 50 € / night, without breakfast. I used to have breakfast at a cafe right across the street, or in the Chocolate Value is in the next street (C / Urzáiz), but in this area there is no problem because there are many hotels and cafes.
This is a four star hotel located a few metres from the historic centre of Vigo and the bay, near the piers where the ferries can take you to the Cies Islands and other places of interest in the estuary. So the location of the hotel is just perfect if you want to visit the islands or the city. The only bad thing is that there's no on-street parking nearby. The four stars are justified, with 91 spacious and functional rooms, with modern decor and bath tubs. You can tell that the hotel isn't brand new, and there's been some damage to the rooms, but nothing out of the ordinary and certainly nothing that affected our stay. The rooms overlooking the bay probably have some of the best views of Vigo, as the building is the highest near the estuary. These rooms have an extra cost of 16 €. Hotel prices start at € 65 for a double, going to 85 € for a suite. A little higher than other similar hotels in the area, but this is the one that has the best views, and that is closest to the pier. Recommended.
This hotel is in the centre of Vigo, a perfect location if you want to get around the city. There are trendy cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as a shopping area, and the harbour is just five minutes walk away. The service is excellent. The decor is very modern and the rooms are great. The air conditioning works well, without any undue noise, and the bathroom is great.
The breakfast buffet is varied, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking spaces are limited, but there's also a parking lot right next door (a tad more expensive). If spaces aren't available, you'll be sent to this lot, and they'll put you on the waiting list for parking. The hotel is very new, and apart from a problem with the safe battery (we waited almost an hour for maintenance), we had no issues. It is a four star hotel, and that score is well-deserved.
A NH hotel never disappoints, so of course the Palacio de Vigo doesn't. We stayed two nights this hotel, and the experience was very good. Well located (just 10 minutes from the old town and the famous Stone Market and oysters) and surrounded by bars and restaurants for lunch and dinner at different prices. The staff are very professional. We had a room that overlooked the main facade, on an avenue with traffic, so we were worried about the noise but we discovered to our delight that the soundproofing is excellent. Although the best asset is the comfort of the beds ... I wish I could have taken mine home with me! The only negative note is that it doesn't have parking, but rather an agreement with a nearby lot for 18 euros per day, which seems very expensive.
Well, you can't ask for the impossible ... this is a simple 2-star hotel in the financial centre of Vigo, about 15-20 minutes from the harbour and the old town. It's difficult to find parking (especially considering the traffic chaos that's always a problem in Vigo), so luckily the hotel has underground parking available. It is a 6-story building with a capacity of 38 rooms of ridiculous dimensions, theoretically equipped with cafeteria, lounge, meeting rooms, gym and jacuzzi. I did not see any of these, except a breakfast room and a small bar at the reception.
The room is pretty shabby, and seems to have been made for dwarfs! For example, the bathroom door opened outward, against the foot of the bed, so couldn't open completely. The room had two 90cm beds separated by a bedside table with a phone. At the entrance was a small desk table (about 60 cm). Opposite the bed was the bathroom door, and on it, hung on the wall, the tv. The bathroom was tiny with the sink outside the door, and the toilet and shower cubicle to each side. The ceiling in the bathroom was full of mold. At night you could hear everything in the hallways and adjoining rooms, the walls are like paper and there was no way to sleep a wink. The price ... 55 € for a double room - just accommodation, nothing else. I'm certainly in no hurry to go back; the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. I've stayed in Vigo for € 60-65 in much better hotels, so I'd rather pay a little more for comfort and at least get some sleep.
Eurostars Mar de Vigo is a modern, minimalist 4 star hotel. The facilities are quite good, but the kitchen is a bit too minimalist for my taste. The prices are reasonable but the rooms are incredibly small. You can park easily in front of the hotel.
The exciting city of Vigo, on Spain's west coast, offers a lot for visitors, and there are many places to stay. Vigo hotels are centered around downtown and close to the waterfront, though hotels in Vigo can be found on the north side of the bay, in the hills to the west, and up and down the coast. With all those choices, deciding where to stay in Vigo means first deciding what area of town you want to be in. Vigo accommodations include small family-run pensions and international-brand hotel chains. Vigo lodging also includes hostels, apart-hotels, inns, spas, and economy-level motels. With so many hotel choices in Vigo, competition has driven prices low, and it's possible to find modern hotels for about US$50 a night. Places to stay in Vigo are generally much more expensive in the summer months, when tourists flock to the beaches, and are more affordable in the cooler off seasons. Vigo hotel deals are easiest to find in the off-season, and less likely to be found during school holidays and during major festivals. Lodging in Vigo can be booked through Minube.
