    Hotels in Mora de Rubielos
    Hotel La Trufa Negra
It’s not the first time that we have visited this hotel but each time it gets better. The truth is, last year’s room was fantastic but that of this year left it behind. Spectacular. We booked the relaxation service and one more day of the spa with massages. I recommend the hot chocolate, it won’t be the last I have. The food is fantastic: breakfasts with the delicious local cooked meats and what can I say about the room service…no complaints, clean hotel, nice and comfortable, what more can you ask for. It is a romantic place where you can disconnect and the little village is very pretty, with good places also where you can go to eat.

    La Fábrica de Solfa Hotel
There isn’t much accommodation which makes you feel at home, and here that is very present. But it is not only the environment which makes the difference in this hotel, but the personalised treatment that you receive. You can notice the detail and care that the brothers who manage it put into everything to make your stay perfect. We enjoyed this escape because it had everything, in the actual hotel they advised us about a route through the Matarraña county with nice countryside, picturesque places and excellent food. Tips: try the home-made jam at breakfast “slow food” or a gin and tonic on the terrace next to the river.

    Hotel Arabia
From when we arrived, we noticed that the treatment was very affable and normal, the employees are all nice and exude peacefulness. The hotel is an ancient restored abbey, with thick walls and exquisite restoration, the luxury bathrooms with hydro massage showers, and the best is the price of a room for two is €55, and an apartment with a kitchen is €70.

    Masia Del Cura
You have to cross the beautiful village in the direction of Nogueruelas, and in less than 2 Km you will find this yellow building. It has in addition to the main building, four small cabins dotted about the garden adapted for disabled people, but you have to reserve them, if they are vacant, because they are cute. Going to this place with children is fantastic, there are amusing swings and a swimming pool which they have just covered. The furniture in the original rooms is antique, the deco suffers from a certain austerity. A double room costs around €100. The food is quite acceptable, the set menu of about €15 is made with good local products, very recommendable is the black pudding pie with a good home-made fried tomato sauce, and the service provided by the owners of the hostal is very friendly.
    Hostels in Tramacastilla
    La Posada De Santa Ana
There is a big difference when you see a hotel that has been created with care and dedication for service and not for grabbing a subsidy and putting the family house in order. The Santa Ana inn is run by a couple, Clara and Andrés, who live for you to feel at home. From the balconies of the inn there is a privileged view of the little village of Tramacastilla and the AlbarracínMountains, and in autumn it’s normal to hear the cries of the deers in the mating season. The rooms only need TVs, which in this environment nobody bothers about, and the six double bedrooms, plus a suite, have a full bathroom, under floor heating and free Wi-Fi. There are two rooms with television and DVD, and a library with publications about the county of the AlbarracínMountains, and various books.

Hotel La Fonda De La Estación
The gastronomy of this inn, which has been in its renewed existence for two years, deserves separate mention, since the building dates from the XIX century. The restaurant of the inn is called La Fondica. At weekends, the dining room with a large window looking out onto the Javalambre Mountains is not big enough, and they have to put the late comers in another room normally used as the meeting room of the hotel. The attention to service is exquisite and very friendly, the décor tasteful, and the food offered on a set menu of €18, with a choice of various dishes and with a Somontano wine in the best taste, is a delight. The vegetable strudel with goat cheese is a success, or the “chupito” of vegetable puree compliments of the house offered at the beginning. Crusty bread, loin staeak with truffles or rabbit with almond sauce and liver are other dishes on offer. The brownie with whole caramelised nuts is a delight for those with a sweet tooth, or the most delicate sweet with Albarracín cheese. To sum up, it is a very recommended place for those who are travelling around the area, or those who go to ski in Javalambre (it’s better to call and reserve).

    Hotel del Sitjar
The Hotel del Sitjar pleasantly surprised us from the first moment. Entering, the transparent floor allows you to see the centuries old remains of the previous building which existed there, after that, the lounges decorated with alabaster give way to the restaurant and the rooms from which we can enjoy some fabulous views of the Matarrañamountains. Some of the antique furniture that we encountered in the décor of the hotel is really impressive. The restaurant is very light, panelling made with strips extracted from the trunks of olive trees (an allegory to a land rich in oil) adorn its wall, which welcomes us while we enjoy a very nice gastronomy or a delicious oil tasting. We had an oil tasting before dinner and it was very good. The food in the restaurant is very good, prepared with care and good taste, I would say it is one of the strong points of the hotel, together with friendliness of the staff. The rooms are large and quiet, fully equipped and very well decorated. The small swimming pool, is very original, since it looks out onto the narrow streets behind the building (the front façade looks out onto the square). I also recommend that you enjoy the small terrace at the entrance of the restaurant at dusk, because they put candles and it is very nice and relaxing to be there.

    Spa Hotel Ciudad de Teruel
We usually go to Teruel in some occasions and we always stay at this hotel, we love the superspa they have (our son loves it as well). Service, staff and facilities are perfect and we always use the minibus to go to Teruel and to return to the hotel. They make homemade churris in the morning .... ahh, and they have wifi!

    Reina Cristina hotel
We made a reservation because of its location, but it was really difficult to park the car. When we arrived, there was a place to park, but once we took the car to explore the area, it was was almost impossible to find a spot, even after paying €12 per night. The room was not very big, but it had a lovely view and was clean. If you want to be in the centre, I recommend this hotel, but with a reservation.

    Hotel Posada Guadalupe
The Posada Guadalupe is in Monroyo, a town full of charm and peace. It has various bedrooms, including a suite with a Jacuzzi, as well as apartments and a family suite (duplex). Without any doubt, what distinguishes this accommodation is its food, an explosion of local flavours prepared with art and care will make dinners there the climax of a relaxing day and family treatment, because the staff are very approachable and friendly. Without any doubt, this is the ideal accommodation for an escape to relax, enjoyment and gastronomy in an environment full of charm.

    Palacio de Allepuz Hotel
The final result of the restoration of this hotel-palace with 22 rooms, has been in my opinion, fantastic. They have managed to put up to the minute decoration into a manor house of the XVI century with great success. High quality materials, rugs with a pile three fingers deep, glass and steel in the handrails of the staircase next to the centuries old rock of the first section in the renaissance style, it has a lot of tasteful details. The wait has been worth the bother, after so many years, somebody has put their work and illusion in making this hotel in the middle of the county of Gúdar-Javalambre work, and one step from the Maestrazgo, it is a member of the Hospederías de Aragón hotels, all important places. On the last floor, room 301, “viewpoint of heaven”, comprises of three attic spaces separated by doors, two double bedrooms and in the middle a bathroom, the windows in the sloping wooden roof allow you to watch the snowfall, the stars which are many here when the sky is cloudless and also watch the mountain goats run on the nearby mountain. Ah, and the value for money is very good, an exquisite hotel and absolutely recommendable with fantastic views of the Sollavientos valley. The food taken in the cellar of the hotel is fantastic: the baby lamb, the “migas”, the rice with boletus, the cannelloni or the quail, as a finale, a view of the beautiful snowy village to finish waking up the senses.

    Casa de Santiago Hotel
You'll love this place as soon as you walk in, and it won't take long for you to feel like you're at home. There is plenty of common spaces besides the room, and you can enjoy peaceful moments in the lounge or on one of the balconies with lovely views over the center of the wonderful Albarracin. It also has a phenomenal restaurent with fairly complete breakfast (with fresh croissants ... yum yum). Really a perfect choice to stay and visit this town.

Hospedería Palacio de la Iglesuela hotel
This hotel now belongs to the Hospederías de Aragón chain, occupying an historic building, the majestic Matutano-Daudén Palace, situated in the centre of the pretty town of Iglesuela del Cid, is the ideal place for a relaxing escape. The mountains of the Sierra de Maestrazgo provide the ideal environment to rest and to get to know the charming villages of medieval origin. The Matutano-Daudén Palace of the XVIII century stands out for the central staircase of the entrance hall, which still has the original handrail, a witness to the passing of many inhabitants and guests who have lodged in the building. Its imposing character can be seen in the arches, the staircase, the bedrooms, its numerous antiques and the public rooms. A highly recommended place although few staff in these days.

    Caserón De La Fuente hotel
I loved the Caserón de la Fuente Hotel in Albarracin, Spain. It's a 500 meter walk from the town's center, right next to a stream that you can hear from the bedroom window. It's a very warm, familiar and well-conditioned hotel (with the cold in this area a little warmth is appreciated). The owners are very polite and pleasant. It's a great price to quality ratio.

El Rincón de la Talega Rural Cottage
The Rincón de la Talega is more than just a country house, it is a vital project for Santi Martínez, a place with a lot of charm in the heart of the Albarracín mountains. The Rincón de la Talega is a house totally restored in 2005, completely respecting the traditional architecture of the AlbarracínMountains, it consists of two floors, with a total of 2 double bedrooms and another 2+2, all of them with complete bathrooms and latex mattresses. The lounge-dining room has a fireplace and a big window which permits natural light, and the kitchen is very well equipped and has a barbeque. The owner is a big fan of the Internet and social networks, and gives a gift of a Teruel ham if you book the house completely online on his web site, elrincondelatalega.es Also, he’s a manager of rural leisure who manages various activities for those who want to have some active days, like routes on a Segway and trips in a hot air balloon over the Albarracín mountains, horse riding, walking in Monterde de Albarracín, walking on the GR-10 road and guided visits.

    Doña Blanca Hotel
The Doña Blanca Hotel is very well situated next to the tourist office, the clinic, the Toy Museum and is in the same street that leads to the area of the rock paintings, scarcely 5 minutes on foot from the old town. The most remarkable thing about this cosy hotel is its car park which is guarded 24 hours a day by cameras, and truthfully, in Albarracín, it is appreciated being able to park at the door and not have to carry your things through the unending slopes or stairways of the village. We stayed in room 208 which had a bed head made from volcanic rock, we also had a sofa and impressive views of the walls of Albarracín. For a little more money you can have breakfast which consists of toast, cooked meats, orange juice, milk, coffee and pastries and the best thing is that they will serve it in your room at the time you want. Apart from that, the owners are very nice, they are always willing to help with the organization of daily visits in Albarracín and all the facilities are very clean, without a doubt we will come back again.
