Radisson is located on the main street of Karl Liebknecht, near the prestigious Unter den Linden. It is just five minutes from the town hall and the TV tower, in the district of Mitte. The hotel has the largest cylindrical aquarium in the world. Next door is a shopping arcade and it is quite well situated for bars and restaurants. There are 427 rooms which are all modernly decorated. The rooms cost between 160 and 200 euros per night depending on the category. The standard room has internet only, but do not include breakfast. The business room is larger, includes breakfast, movies, trouser press, high speed internet and a coffee machine.
On a low budget trip, three friends and I went to Berlin and found at a hostel called CityStay. We were very lucky because besides being primely located, the price was incredible. It is located in the center of Berlin directly across the street from Alexander Platz and a 2 minute walk from Museum Island! When my friends and I embark on an adventure, we´re always looking for good location and a good price and this hostel was definitely the best choice. It was a building built in the late nineteenth century and was restored with single rooms or ones for up to ten people. The atmosphere was very nice. The service was really good and the staff was very friendly and happy to recommend the best places in the area and the best places to go clubbing! Breakfast was a table full of breads and cereals, cheese and ham, tea and coffee. Internet available and a quite cozy lobby which was perfect for meeting more people. There was also a small bar serving drinks at great prices and it created a perfect environment to start the evening. This place can be an excellent choice for travelers who want to visit Berlin in a more youthful way by spending less and enjoying it more!
This hotel is an excellent value for the price. It is very new so the design and decor are very modern. Its location is unbeatable (Berlin-Mitte) as it´s only a 50m from the Alexanderplatz station. The area offers many places to eat and have breakfast if you don´t want to in the hotel since the breakfast buffet is a bit pricey. When we went the receptionist who greeted us was from Cadiz, so language was not a problem. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended (its 2 stars are equivalent to an average 4 star hotel in Spain). The hotel belongs to the Motel One chain and has two other hotels in other areas of Berlin.
With an interesting blend of functionality and design, John F hotel is a really good option to stay in Berlin. It is located just 100 meters from the Opera in Berlin (Staatsoper), which is probably the most monumental place in the city. Within walking distance is also the famous Museum Island, with some of the major attractions of Berlin such as the Pergamon and the Cathedral. And if you walk down the beautiful Unter den Linden in the opposite direction, you arrive at the Brandenburg Gate in 10 minutes. It simply could not be better situated for exploring Berlin. The rooms are comfortable. It offers great breakfasts and good customer service. By the way, the hotel's name comes from President Kennedy (John F, you know). It seems that JFK visited Berlin during the Cold War and the city is very proud of this visit. The best thing about the hotel is its master suite. I recommend looking at the pictures of the suite to get an idea: http://goo.gl/Jvzgv It really is exceptional :-)
The Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome is located in the city of Berlin. The Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome has a total of 146 rooms with a full bathroom, air conditioning, heating, TV and private balcony. In-room massage is available. The hotel offers its guests many services including a swimming pool, solarium, bar, restaurant, sauna, gym, business center, limo and beauty center. The hotel is near the Pergamon Museum and the Cathedral of Berlin. In addition, Chekpoint Charlie and the Berlin Wall are less than 1 km away. The airports of Tegel and Tempelhof Schonefels are nearby.
The train station S-Bahn Hackescher Markt is just 100 meters from this 4-star hotel, with a variety of shops and restaurants around, and Alexanderplatz is within walking distance - so its location is good. The rooms have a kitchenette, flat screen TV and modern furniture, new and spotless. It has a fantastic gym and two hot tubs that were usually empty, perfect if not for the snow outside, the water temperature is perfect. Very good breakfast. In short, a remarkable place that falls short because of the cold demeanour of the reception lady during check-in.
