The Europe Hotel (San Francisco) is located in the historic North Beach district of San Francisco, California. It is close to Fisherman's Wharf. There is a 24-hour reception desk and 65 rooms. The room has a lot of closet space and TV cable TV. The bathrooms are located in corridors with adequate facilities for men and women on each floor.
A friend and I went to spend three days in San Francisco and this hostel was a hit and ahd charm that a normal hotel can not offer ... I noticed that there weren't any people over 35 years old, but that's part of the reason why we liked. The rooms are basic, but that's ok because we were only there to sleep. We spent the rest of the day visiting the city and when night arrives, you can meet people with similar interests with whom you can share your experiences. You enter that small community of young travelers when you participate in the first dinner (free on Tuesdays) or in your first Beer Olympics (which, oddly enough, was won by a German girl and a Frenchman!). The fact is that during your stay, you live with people have alrady been there a few days and can recommend good places. There are computers with free wi-fi, 3 free dinners, parties, etc.
