4 reviews of Bunker Hill Monument

294 steps to the top!

This monument is one of the points of interest on the Boston Freedom Trail, and it is a lovely reminder of the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. Another reason it’s lovely is because there is a stunning, scenic, panoramic view of the city. It’s 294 steps to the top (phew!), but you’ll need to get a ticket before climbing to the top. (They’re free at the museum across the street.) So, you get a workout and a view.

Fortunately, it sits in the middle of Bunker Hill Monument Park so you can relax there afterward if the climb is too tiring.

You have to take 300 staircase for go to the top .
