Ellauri Hotel in Zeanuri is one of the better known hotels of the area. The elegance and good service will welcome you when you get there, but you will be most surprised by the views.
When I arrived to the bedroom I was hypnotized by the balcony that gives a lot of light to the room and allows amazingly beautiful views. Another strong point is the gastronomy; both the breakfast and dinner were fabulous.
It is close to the bus stop to Bilbao, but with a car like the one we had, with a four wheel-drive, we enjoyed trails where wild trees grow. Anyway, we couldn’t resist the temptation to use the mountain bikes that the hotel lets you borrow.
The best part of the hotel are the king sized beds which are very comfortable, you sleep like a king. The calmness one breathes and the walks one takes also contribute to a good sleep. Also the mastiff in the doorway transmits his drowsiness, and the cowbells relax you with their music.
The truth is that you don’t expect a design boutique hotel with huge luminous windows with terraces to take the sun.
