Hiking in Andorra: the Iron Route

3 reviews of Hiking in Andorra: the Iron Route

Ride is perfect for a family with children

For a beautiful landscape, this easy trail delves into the history of Andorran procurement, processing and marketing of iron from the early 17th to late 19th century. The ride is perfect for a family with children and, it has great slopes. The journey can begin in Ordino or La Cortinada. The trail, which connects to Llorts and ends in El Serrat, runs parallel to a river, passing through an iron mine, meadows, traditional huts, a Romanesque bridge and the unique sculptures by French Rachid Khimoune.
