A traveling exhibition
Howard University Gallery of Art was established in 1928 by the action of the Board of Trustees to rotate exhibitions of contemporary art and crafts available for students to view and study. The Howard University Gallery of Art officially opened a traveling exhibition of oil paintings, watercolors and drawings assembled and distributed by the College Art Association of America on April 7, 1930.
