Worth a visit
It is a river town about 120 km from Shanghai. Surrounding channels are frequented by boats in the gondolas style, steered by uniformed ladies ve invite visitors to climb aboard. The buildings are packed with small shops offering all kinds of things and if you want to buy something, you must bargain as everywhere in China. To enter the village you have to pay a fee, which will go towards conserving the buildings and gardens. Very interesting for a visit, and there are tours you can take of the area.
