Sultan's Palace (Beit el-Sahel)

This palace is an important historical site in Zanzibar. It was the residence of the Sultan of Oman until 1964, and today is a museum about the history of the Sultanate. We paid a small fee and learned a little more about the history of the city. You don't need a guide, and you can take photos inside. The only complaint I can make is about the condition of the building itself. Still, worth a visit.
