Black's Beach

This beach in La Jolla is such a unique coastal find. How many beaches have beautiful black sand and smooth, colorful stones scattered across? You can get to Black’s Beach by parking at Torrey Pines and climbing down several dozen steps, or you can hike the Ho Chi Minh Trail and save the beach as a reward at the end. Whatever way you get down there, it’s a real treasure worth making some time to check out. It’s also the perfect place to watch the sunset, whether with a significant other or friends.
