Braunton Burrows is a huge field of dunes located in the county of Devon in the southwest of England. This is a unique geological area that covers about 1400 hectares, with countless dunes creating a special ecosystem. Braunton Burrows is a protected area classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest by the Government because of the very rare plant species found there.
