Lightship Bar

Located on the Canning Dock next to the Albert Dock, it is difficult to miss the Lightship Bar: This is a huge lightship painted red! In fact, this ship is one of the historic boats that were deployed in the Irish Sea in the event of failure of a lighthouse, or used to indicate a temporary hazard (beached boat, etc..). It was later bought by a contractor, who had the good sense to turn it into a bar!
