Fotoplastikon

One of the oldest places of Warsaw, although it's in the heart of the city it survived the Nazis, the destruction of the city and the Russian invasion. The Warsaw Fotoplastikon is nineteenth century and at that time it was "the cinema". This device allows you to view 3D photographs through lenses that join 2 photographs. It opened in 1905 and at that time they could see pictures of the world so allowing people to travel through them. It was used by the Nazis as a cinema and it's said that they met here and conspired. You can also see old photographs of Warsaw, actresses and writers and it's one of the most historic sites as it's in a city that was totally destroyed.
