I stayed at this hostel in 2009, and it was one of the best hostels I've ever been to. It's in a great position, not far from the train station. It has a cozy bar, and great decor, with vinyl records from great bands of the twentieth century.
This studio is in a private zone between the street and Avenue Szucha MARSZALKOWSKA, in the southern part of the district of Sródmiescie, the most posh and recommended in Warsaw. The studio is relatively new and with a confortable bedroom-living-room in the same space, kitchen and bathroom. The negative thing is that there is no wardrobe, no washing machine, oven, dishwasher or television. And it lacked basic utensils like a drainer, tablecloths and napkins, etc.. The pipe had a little problem while showering slow as in the kitchen sink. On the brighter side, the owner who gave us all sorts of useful information in the neighborhood and even ordered us a taxi to take us to the train station. There are porters at the front desk 24 hours a day because it is a private apartment. The area is very good with lots of life but quiet: there are all kinds of services, pharmacies, shops and restaurants. Regarding the sights, is 5 minutes from the water palace, the Polytechnic and relatively close to the Palace of Kultura. Well connected to the city center by tram and bus, you can get from the airport by taking the bus 188 which leaves you in a roundabout at the beginning of the street Szucha.
I loved it - I spent two nights at this centrally located Warsaw hostel, and it was enough for me to know that I'll be back. The rooms (three bunk beds, each with its own light, assigned locker and privacy curtain) and the common areas were spotless. The bathrooms have some room for improvement, but they were good. I loved the sitting room/kitchen, where breakfast is served - toast, ham, butter, jam, tea, coffee. The location is great, quiet, but still close to downtown, just behind the main street. My room was overlooking the street, but I didn't hear a thing at night. A good option for backpackers.
A Luxury and affordable for everyone. A fully restored former palace, tastefully modern, all with charm and quality. The breakfast / buffet was the best in the world. Usually they have many offers (like a European hotel of 3 stars or less, and worth it if you go to Warsaw, I found a deal so good that when we got to the hotel we could not believe that we could have such luxury at such a price. Central and next to the train station (to go to Krakow, etc..) and the metro to get around the city. The restaurant is also very well priced and the food exquisite. Really, try this hotel in Warsaw, you will not regret it.

Don't even think about going to this hostel. The beds are horrid (they're broken), the staff is unfriendly and difficult, don't be fooled by the price. I've traveled around Europe and I've never encountered scummy people like this before. To top it all off, when we were leaving they didn't want to give us back our ID's because they wanted to charge us double... HORRIBLE!
