The best things to do in Warsaw

Two of the main things to see in Warsaw are its Old Town, or Stare Miasto, and its New Town, or Nowe Miasto. The capital's Old Town is one of the most picturesque places to visit in Warsaw. It was built in the late thirteenth century around the current Royal Castle.

The New City, meanwhile, is one of the most popular areas in Warsaw. Visiting the Palace of Culture is one of the most popular things to do in Warsaw and is among the top Warsaw attractions. It was built between 1952 and 1955 and, according to Stalin, it was a gift of Soviet people to Poland; it was long considered by the Poles as a symbol of the domination of the USSR.

The Baroque Wilanw Palace is also an interesting palace and can be visited with a guide. Attractions in Warsaw of great importance are Krakowskie Przedmiecie, majestic streets with numerous buildings, monuments, and churches that demonstrate the city's rich aristocratic past. It's part of the so-called "Royal Route" of the Polish capital.

If you prefer walking and resting, more stuff to do in Warsaw includes visiting the Lazienki Royal Park, the largest public park in the city and one which houses a palace complex, a lake, and a botanical garden. There are many Warsaw attractions like palaces, museums, monuments, and other alternatives that await any tourist. For more on what to do in Warsaw, check out our web site.
