Quality craft beers
One of Chicago's first breweries and most well known is Goose Island. Named after the nearby island in the river. Their most popular beer is 312 (pronounced 3-1-2) and is named after the Chicago area code. This brewery is all about Chicago and prides it's homage to the city. (Unfortunately now they have been bought by a corporate beer empire) today, they are still coming out with some quality new craft beers!
The location in Lincoln park has some brewery parts there as well as a brew pub. Their burgers and sandwiches are what you would expect from a brew pub. Quite delicious!! It is a beautiful bar with lots of woodwork and a really neat viewing area of the brewery area!
