The Grand Christmas Parade is a beautiful, world-famous spectacle. It takes place along one of the main avenues of the city, and is sure to touch the heart of anyone who sees it, young or old - not only for the Christmas theme, but also the costumes, the choreography, and the music. We'd never seen anything quite like it in Brazil. It's worth spending $50.00 (or more) to see it. The spectacle takes place on alternate days during the Christmas period, between November and January. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Palais des Festivals.
