Grotte of Niaux

This past weekend I've been in the Ariege (France) and went to visit the cave of Niaux as I was recommended and it is honestly ... AWESOME!. They are the last caves with prehistoric paintings that you can visit real and it is worthwhile. This cave is big, wide, perhaps not large stalagmites and stalactites because of the ravages of the "bourgeois" from the eighteenth century who did not yet know about the prehistorics ... but delve into that cave with only a flashlights and super-group (4 people and the guide) was really like going to the center of the earth. I highly recommended it if you are from the south of France.
