Kaluga is one of the fastest growing cities in economic terms throughout Russia, due to the number of automotive companies that are present there, almost equalling the Americal city of Detroit. It is located in the western part of Russia, in the Central Federal District, about 150 kilometers southwest of Moscow. It is characterised by the cold weather, in fact it is impossible to walk through an area where there is no snow.
