As part of the Fife Coastal Path, we found this village that seems to have 2 different faces, depending on the season. In summer, it is known for its 2 beaches, crowded, but in winter, the cold temperatures make this town quiet ... No doubt it doesn´t get much wilder than a sightseeing day of August. Geographically, Kinghorn is on the other side of the coast of Edinburgh, on the other side of the estuary and dates back to the Middle Ages where the famous King Alexander III died. It is small but has 2 beaches, Kinghorn Pettycur beach and bay (a beautiful place, I'll put it as my next place). It also has a typical fishing port.
