Famous in Switzerland
The Kunsthaus Museum has art collections that are famous in Switzerland, including all types of works, from medieval sculptures to Zurich Concretist Art. Also on display are works by international artists, such as Edvard Munch, and important paintings by Picasso and the Expressionists Kokoschka, Beckmann and Corinth. In 1932 the museum held the first retrospective exhibition of Picasso. Subsequently it acquired works not only from Switzerland but also international avant-garde and more.
