La Deliciosa Restaurant

This is the best place I've found lately for eating out, an amazing Parisian-style restaurant in the heat of Bilbao. You go out for tapas, you walk for a few blocks through the crowded streets ... then you suddenly find this haven of peace and fine dining in one of the most traditional streets of the old quarter of Bilbao. There's traditional Basque food with innovative touches, and a lot of good choices among the wines. A local friend took us here, and it quickly became one of my favourite spots in Bilbao. The bar at the end of the restaurant is built with books, instead of brick, which gives it an original touch.
