Mandoya is a highly recommended Bilbao restaurant, offering traditional Basque food. There are a number of special menus available for different prices, with plenty of options to suit different budgets, such as the tasting menu for just over 30 €, the barbecue menu, various menus for groups, and my personal favourite, the deli menu. This restaurant has great seafood, and is well-known for its high quality food. Seafood like wild turbot, lobster salad and squid in its ink is great, but the peppered sirloin is also delicious, at least according to my friends - I usually go for fish over meat. There are several different dining rooms, each with its own particular decor: one is romantic, another more rustic, etc.
