“The mirror of Venus” is a crater lake. The color of the lake changes constantly and this best seen looking down from the village of Bugebar. Thermal waters bubble up into the lake and the mineral rich, volcanic mud is rumored to be good for the skin. Off-season the track around the perimeter is popular with joggers.
