Small blue tiled church
The Church of Mercy is a small temple that is located right in the center of the town of Gouveia (Serra da Estrela), in St. Peter's Square, very close to the main church (Igreja matrix). It dates back to the 18th century century. This small eighteenth century church stands is highlighted by its facade made from blue tiles, which is very common in this part of Beira Alta. It's also special for it's baroque lines.
