The favorite palace of the Emperor
A few meters walk from the magnificent Residential Palace of Ludwigsburg is a small Baroque style romantic pleasure palace, designed in the days of Duke Carl Eugen as the Emperor's private hunting ground and to hold parties. It's in the middle of a "wilderness park" of 74 hectares, in which many animals, especially deer, enjoy life in semi-freedom.
