Not to be missed

The square is named after the neighborhood and is the best and most spectacular place to begin a day of sightseeing in Venice. In this square is, of course, the famous St Mark's Basilica with its glorious Campanile and the Doge's Palace. The sunset with pink light reflecting off the buildings is an event not to miss.
