1 review of Snowdon

The highest mountain in Wales

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and is located within the 'Snowdonia National Park'. Its summit is known as "the mound" and is located at an altitude of 1085 meters above sea level. In addition to the significant snowfall that falls from October to April, it is said that here you'll find one of the wettest climates in all of Britain. On these majestic mountain ridges you can see cliffs to the north and east, grasslands to the south and west, and the summit offers one of the broadest views in the British Isles: with clear visibility you can see Scotland, England, Ireland and the Isle of Man, but sadly such days are rare in this climate! To reach the summit, there are several possible routes, some more adventurous than others.
