Surrounded by fast food, international or national, just ask at the hotel for an cheap place to eat authentic food. Go to the Soda Bonanza, it's got Good food and good people. It's a bit hidden but you can ask any villager for directions. One of the photos you can see is the map. Marcos will make you feel at home and her little daughter Sophia is charming. Mary, Mark's wife, will welcome you into the kitchen. All food is exceptional but the lomillos are amazing (the mushroom sauce recommended). Juices are delicious and very natural. You must visit Monteverde, if you go, you'll keep going back!
