The Greenhouse Cafe

In Solvang, everything is of Danish origin, from the style of the houses to the crafts and, of course, the food. All restaurants serve Danish dishes so finding something "normal" can be a bit tricky. The Greenhouse Cafe, though, does a good job. First, the space is great and they have lots of tables outside, even in winter. They do serve some Danish favorites (a lot of heavy sausage dishes) but also things like penne with pesto, which was definitely one of the best I've ever eaten. To be honest, I was not expecting much of the place, but the food really blew me away. The warm bread is another plus.
