United Buddy Bears

In Plaza Independencia, there are 140 bears, each two meters high. They represent the member states of the UN and are part of a travelling art show which seeks to spread and encourage the exchange of cultures and ideas. This is a world tour that began in Berlin in 2002, sponsored by UNICEF. A lovely idea encouraging brotherhood between nations.
