2 reviews of Virgin Gorda

3r biggest island in the British Virgin Islands

Virgin Gorda, with its 8 square miles, the 3rd biggest island in the archipelago of the British Virgin Islands. It has about 2,000 inhabitants and was discovered by Christopher Columbus, giving it this strange name because its shape reminded him of a fat woman. It is a paradisiacal place, with thousands of coves and beaches washed by the Caribbean, with white sand and turquoise waters. Savannah Beach, a perfect place to spend a few days in relaxation in rental cabanas . Among its attractions are its 2 National Parks: The Baths National Park and the Spring Bay National Park and coral reefs and snorkeling and hiking.
