Fogo De Chao
(8)
One of the things that you should do if you visit Sao Paulo is go to a steakhouse, specializing in Brazilian beef. And a good choice is the Fogo de Chao. It's a franchise so you will see several in the city: one in the Via Olimpia, one in Moema, and this one, in Santo Amaro, that we visited, as it's the closest to our hotel. I suggest you go to the one that's closest to you, as the distances in Sao Paulo are ridiculous (you could be in a traffic jam for 30 - 45 minutes to go a small distance). One of the best steaks I've ever tasted, and all you can eat - you keep eating until finally you admit defeat and tell them to stop. It's not cheap (about 95 reals, almost 50 euros and that's without a drink). The service is great.

Sujinho
(7)
Sao Paulo has a huge range of bars, restaurants and cafes, so it's easy to find a gastronomic spot to fall in love with in every corner of the city. One such place is the Sujinho, a traditional type of restaurant serving steak in the city centre. But I want to talk about another restaurant: since 2009, the Sujinho has had a second location open in the city, selling burgers. These are handmade burgers, some of the best in the whole city. They come with delicious homemade mayonnaise, seasoned with garlic and herbs. The burgers come in three different sizes: 80g, 160g and 250g. In addition, they sell hot dogs and sandwiches. The thick-cut chips are delicious, accompanied by two incredible sauces. It's not too expensive, but be careful - they don't always accept cards, so it's best to withdraw money before going.

Casa Mathilde - Doçaria
(3)
These days, I discovered this candy store right in the city centre of So Paulo, in Antonio Prado square. Actually the correct terminology is "Sweet" as Casa Matilde offers very traditional Portuguese cakes. It relates to Mathilde Queijadas Factory founded in the year 1850 in Sintra, Portugal. It offers handcrafted and traditional manufacturing of Queijadinha famous Portuguese sweet like the cream pie, pillow, among others. The site has a very modern and cozy decor. Upstairs, you can get a view of the beautiful Largo Antonio Prado, so if you are doing a tour of the historical center of the city of So Paulo, or just passing through, it's worth knowing. Highly recommended.

Outback Steakhouse

This is a restaurant with the taste of Australia. To be honest, I've never been to that country, but the food here is really good. It specialises in meat, and is always full; arrive early to guarantee a table. But even if you have to wait, it's worth it! The quality of the food is fantastic. The steaks are well-seasoned and very tender, with a taste of Aussie BBQ. It's a worldwide chain, and in Sao Paulo there are several branches. A great place to go when you want to eat well!

El Tambo
(5)
El Tambo restaurant specializes in Mexican food. I went with two coworkers to an event at the restaurant and we were well looked after. First we ordered nachos with chili, guacamole, cheese and tomato sauce, then came the potatoes with cheese and pepper, fried onions, and other delicious dishes. The restaurant is perfect for meeting friends, family and even for a happy hour, so don't waste time and go there! The menu is Mexican and Latin American, and it's great for events, birthdays, meetings, or orders. There we can arrange the event you like. If you are passing through the city of Campinas and decide to have a fun and lively time, this is the place. Welcome and enjoy!

Famiglia Mancini

To eat delicious pasta in an Italian family environment, you need not go to Italy - you can find plenty of bars and restaurants here in Sao Paulo. This is a traditional offering where you can enjoy a wide range of different types of pasta, not to mention the unforgettable antipasti buffet, which has an incredible selection of different cheeses, olives, marinated octopus, cod, roasted garlic, and more. At the weekend, you'll have to wait about one hour to get served, but I promise that it'll be worth it. This restaurant is on Avanhandava Street, and the family who run it have other establishments nearby - for example, at the end of the street, Macini Famiglia Pizzeria.

With nearly two decades of success, the confectionery and bakery Romana, in Campinas, in the charming neighborhood of Cambui, has become a meeting point for residents and visitors to the city. It has countless references to the quality of its products, ideal to enjoy a coffee or an afternoon snack, with a variety of juices, candy, ice cream, and much more, up to its motto " factory of good times. " Excellent service, very comfortable place. So all friends end up there at the end of the evening and don't feel time pass. RECOMMENDED.

Frangó
(3)
Frango is one of my favorite bars in São Paulo. There is an incredible variety of beers, one of the largest in Brazil, and the bar has received many awards. The food is incredible, almost all made with chicken (frango in Portuguese). I recommend to try the coxinhas, one of the most famous fingerfoods to eat in Brazil which is stuffed with chicken and cream cheese. There are many international brands in terms of drinks but also Brazilians ones such as Original, Baden Baden, Devassa and others. There is a beer expert if you are interested to know more about the types of beer. It closes early, at 23 during the weekdays and one Friday and Saturday at 1am, but they are open everyday until 12.

Bella Paulista
(3)
The bakers in Sao Paulo do far more than bread. The Bella Paulista is a great place with a pleasant atmosphere for any meal and occasion. For those who enjoy the most important meal of the day, you can enjoy a very good breakfast buffet until 3 pm. Other meals can be enjoyed here too. It's a lovely environment, with lots of privacy and comfort, and the service is quick and attentive.

Kaizen Japanese Food
(4)
Kaizen Japanese Food is a traditional Japanese restaurant. It was Friday when I went there with co-workers, and it was very nice. The restaurant openly prepares dishes, so if you want you can see how your food is made, under part of the menu with the best of traditional Japanese cuisine. The Kaizen Japanese Food offers hot dishes such as teppanyaki, tempura, ramen, sukiyaki, among others, to cold dishes such as sushi and sashimi prepared with fresh fish. All have quality guaranteed by a food scientist and the supervision of the owners and chefs. A good option if you're in Campinas and want to try something different. Have a good meal.

Sancho Bar y Tapas

I was walking down the Rua Augusta, and found myself on a red carpet rolled out onto the pavement. I stopped to enjoy it and saw a balcony full of little sandwiches - tapas like in Spain! I couldn't resist, so in I went. The specialty was one of my favourite pieces of Spanish cuisine: tortillas! Besides this there are tapas of all kinds ... and, of course, paella! It's delicious, and there's even a vegetarian type of paella available. The wine and beer is varie. The decor is charming, traditional Spanish style, and the service is great. Oh, and the almond cake ... I just want to go back and have another piece!

Capim Santo Sao Paulo
During the week of Sao Paulo (the first week of September), I had dinner at the Capim Santo restaurant, which is located in the heart of the metropolis. The menu for the occasion consisted of three dishes representing the Brazilian culinary tradition. The atmosphere was great, with several wooden tables in a tropical-style garden, and everything lit up by candles.

Rong He

In the neighbourhood of Libertad, you can find the best Chinese restaurant ever! It's very simple on the outside, and you could easily miss it. But it's famous enough that hundreds flock here every day, attracted by the cheap, high quality food. You can also see the dough for noodles made right in front of your eyes ... incredible! You can eat well here for about $30.00, including a drink!

Restaurante Dois Irmaos
(1)
A different and informal place that for years has been at the forefront of young people and adults of So Paulo. It's currently considered one of the best breweries in the city. Dois Irmaos is known throughout the region for its good food, unbeatable meat with a great price! It's dishes and other menu options cast doubt on which dishes to choose. It is the ideal place to meet, and talk outside the group after work meeting. Besides good food, how about an ice cream to accompany it?
