Bon Bon Cafe is located in Chieti in the Gian Battista Piazza opposite the beautiful Chamber of Commerce building and next to the church of Corso Marrucino. The cafe inside is not too large so most people rest on the terrace which quickly becomes full at noon by high school students that have just left their classes or in the evenings by anyone. Locals always know the best sites to visit so I had a bunch of coffees here and they were great.
Italian recipes have been imposed on all points of the planet. There is no place, no matter how small without a pizzeria or an Italian pasta restaurant called something ending in "inni". But what is clear is that they know it much better in its homeland. They are in their element ... This was showed to me in the Grande Albergo Abruzzo Hotel where they offered lunch, dinner a la carte or a buffet dinner. While I always thought it was a myth that the basis of the Italian diet was pasta, I realized there that it was 100% true. In addition to the different varieties of spaghetti, macaroni, noodles, etc a(in Spain how many types of lentils are there?), Always I had to choose from a selection of meat, fish (to a lesser extent) salads and cheeses. Do you drink? Red wine. What dessert? The tiramisu? What do you drink something with dessert? A liqueur, that since I have it is never missing in my fridge. Limoncello.
