4 November Garden

Flowers, plants, fountains, stone benches, mazes of thyme - all of these are found in the this park, despite its small size, can accommodate the annual Tractor Fair. It's located in Chieti. Apparently, to get the tractors inside the park, they had to research how to carefully park the tractors without crushing any daisies, which they did, thankfully! I was happy that I could continue walking through this beautiful garden and sit in the fountain plaza. I did it with the best companion you could find in Italy: AN ICE CREAM! There's a cafe in the park that serves ice cream. By my estimation, a 250 gram scoop of delicious ice cream costs one euro. There are flavours for every taste: Pistachio, Raspberry, Lemon, Stracciatella. But the must-tries are the nutella and the lip-smacking Ferrero Rocher.
Markets in Chieti
Market of Chieti

This market has existed since time immemorial, which is what the woman selling strawberries told me, which means it's either very old, or she couldn't remember. The fact is that the Chieti Market Piazza always sets up fruit and vegetable stalls every morning. The very intense and fresh smells, bright colours and delicious flavor make all your senses fall into the healthy addiction to return home with an overflowing shopping cart.

Building Chamber of Commerce

The most impressive buildings in many places usually belong to important institutions either because of their age or because of their importance to the daily life of the city. I recommend walking around Chieti night and particularly in summer when concerts are hosted.
Streets in Chieti
Chieti´s Street
(3)
I did not know which to stay on. All streets that form the spine of Chieti have a special charm. It's strange because when I think of them yellow immediately comes to mind. The yellow bulbs in the streetlights. The yellow of the facades of the stately homes. The yellow flowers hanging from the arches of the arcades. The yellow FIAT 500s. The yellow balloons carried by the little children. The huge sun shining every morning and the smiles of the residents and visitors alike. To say sometihng: Corso of Marrucino, Via Mater Domini, Via Amiterno, Via Paradiso. Yes, it may sound silly to you but for me the formula is: Chieti Street + Chieti Street = yellow.

African Library
(1)
The Chieti African Library was created with the intention of bringing more representation of a culture that is increasingly present in Italy. One way to accommodate the inhabitants of African origin is knowing more about their history and a great medium for this is through writing. The idea of this library was begotten in Rome. So, this library was created that granted public access to all kinds of books (historical, novelistic, customs, rhymes, recipes, political, humorous, dramatic). Moreover, there are also opportunities to participate in discussions to rediscover a continent from which we still have much to learn.

Floral Carpet of Chieti

Chieti is 70 km from the Adriatic Sea and 200 km from Rome. It's surrounded by parks. Flower petals mainly cover the main promenade, Corso Marrucino, when spring arrives. The entire community gets involved to prepare for the evening of religious celebration. It invites everyone to witness the art - from nature to art.
