This restaurant is in one of the intersections of the pedestrian street of Baiona. We picked it by chance, as it was good day and there was a free table on the terrace. We had breakfast late so we were not hungry ... we ordered an entree to share and then a fish stew for 2. Although the terrace was full, a waiter came to bring us the menu and we quickly noted something, seeing that the stew would take about 20-25 minutes, although we did not mind waiting. The menu had all kinds of rations from Galician food (octopus, peppers, ham, etc.) and à la carte, with a selection of fish and meat. Our stew was good, was a sizable pot on a bed of potatoes came different types of fish, accompanied by a very good sauce and shrimp and clams. He was also very well priced because I think we paid about 45 € for food for two and got the boots. A nice place to stay.
This restaurant is hidden away on the street that connects the start of Collegiate Baiona and the first side street of Baiona as you head towards the port. It is a family business run by Carmen and Augustine, and I go there every time I visit my parents and they constantly surprise and delight me with the best products and new dishes. The servings are typical, octopus, squid or grilled onions, grilled seafood, etc.. But I can assure you that you will not find anything better, you will enjoy a top class kitchen, with an emphasis on rice, barbecues, both meat and seafood, and of course fish from the estuary. I recommend a dessert called burning tongue, it is a delight.
If you want to enjoy good seafood in the Rias Baixas, this place is a very good option. Yesterday I was at a wedding and it is a scandal everything that was there, shrimp, barnacles, lobster, crab ... It is situated very close to the Parador de Baiona, so going for a walk afterwards is a must.
Le Crep is a friendly place with pleasant service and simple but delicious food that's well presented. They have a special children's menu, which is nice. It's not varied, but it has the typical stuff on it like potatoes, chicken, you know what I mean. Obviously the specialty here is crepes, and they're sweet and salty, but we opted for the little salad, croquettes, chicken fried potatoes, but that was enough! For what it is, it's really good.
This fantastic hotel and spa, in addition to having one of the best circuits in Europe of thalassotherapy, has got a restaurant of great quality with products that come from their same land to which they put a little touch of sophistication. Also, at the foot of the hotel you can enjoy the stunning views of the coast (Cape Silleiro). On a day like when we were there, it is spectacular to see the waves crashing ... They have a terrace that in spring and summer is just a real treat. The food is also top-notch. The octopus "a feira" with mashed potatoes was excellent. The carpaccio also very tasty (with a little bit of oil it is better). Then we had some spinach cannelloni au gratin which I loved. They first gave us a warm salad of goat cheese that need no further description but the picture attached. We also had a turbot in mushroom sauce and hedgehog. I'm more of turbot "Classic" but I loved it. All this with a glass of Albariño wine you can also see in the picture. I can't wait to go back!
This is a hotel-restaurant with a unique courtyard, good service, guaranteed product, and a quality environment. The wine list offers local wines. Homemade desserts, grill always ready, attentive waiters, grilled octopus that takes your breath away, and very good empanadas. Splendid meat and fish. Prices in line with the quality. I recommend it.
Da Ponte is a restaurant that is situated in the town of Baiona, in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia. This is a good place to meet up with your friends or family. The gastronomic quality is unmatched, the taste is superb, and this is due to the freshness of their food. The staff is very attentive.
Manduca is a sandwich and hamburger restaurant that has at least 8 years of experience doing business as the best fast food in the tourist town of Bayonne. In addition to their hamburgers, dogs, and sandwiches accompanied by some fries and your favorite beverage, if you're very brave you can order the "eat the world." It's the most abundant meal you can imagine. As for the decor, the restaurant combines pastel colors, like blue and green, and white furniture. Important: They make carry out food and they're closed on Mondays for a personal day. Its hours are from 6:00 p.m. until midnight.
We were looking for a place in Baiona where 12 of us could eat, including 6 children, and it was no easy task. We managed to find this place that offers octopus, peppers, fried fish etc. It was a pleasant surprise.
