The La Miaja Restaurant is located in front of the Colegiata del Santo Sepulcro. It's a good value for the money. The restaurant has some exquisite tapas, and a daily menu with original dishes for just € 8.50 (for that you get 2 courses, dessert, bread and a drink). Even the simplest salad (lettuce, tomato, onion), is given an original touch with what they throw in, like sunflower seeds, Modena and that salt! I think it's called flake salt. I loved it. The waitresses were a bit "dry," but whatever, not everything can be perfect.
The Posada Arco de San Miguel is a cozy restaurant with an awning, and the staff's service is perfect, and the food is very good. The only catch is that it's not cheap, but if you want a safe bet it's worth it. We'll go back because Calatayud has a lot of things to see, it's on the books for another time.
Located in the city center, near Paseo de las Cortes de Aragon, this special pastry shop caught my attention due to the originality of its products. Besides having a wide range of products and traditional sweets and a large assortment of souvenir and gift items, they have some very unusual cakes. Apparently they were dolls (traditional Barbies), dressed in large attractively-colored dresses. I was surprised when I was told that the dolls were cakes and the flavor depended on the color of the dress: Pink - strawberry, yellow - lemon, .... I found them so original. Despite its location and the products they sell, they have some of the most reasonable prices.
The Hospedería Mesón de la Dolores Restaurant offers you a different way to spend the evenings. It's decor has Gothic touches in its accessories, and it's part of the ethnological museum that retrieves its ancestors, utensils and tools, which recreates a small but popular treasure that the guests can look at. The property is in an old inn that could have been the oldest civil building in Calatayud that remains to this day. It's a result of the studies.

The main dishes at the Bíbilis Restaurant are traditional Spanish cuisine items made with top quality ingredients that ensure that the final product will be good. The restaurant has a regular clientele, so it's good to book a reservation before going. I recommend the borage with clams, chickpeas with eel, and the grilled lamb.
