Located in the extreme south of the university town of Cambridge, the vast Parker's Piece is one of the city's biggest, and best parks. It's a great place to get away from the tourist bustle and enjoy some greenery and peace. We like it for picnics, ice cream (there are plenty of places to buy), or just taking a stroll.
Throughout the beautiful and very famous university city of Cambridge, the canals of the local river are one of the main attractions. Bordered by small, traditional houses, they lend the area a special, romantic charm. We love walking along the canals, and enjoying the atmosphere.
Hidden behind the courtyard of the main entrance of Emmanuel College, on St Andrews Street, the university gardens are a secret gem! Once inside, it's a lovely surprise to discover the small stream, weeping willow and beautiful flowers, with a perfectly maintained lawn.
