Royal Phuket Marina
(1)
The Royal Phuket Marina is a port east of the island of Phuket, where the company Andaman Leisure Phuket offers tours to a lot of islands, including those highlighting Pang Nga Bay with James Bond Island, the Phang Nga National Park, canoeing, Monkey Island, and the famous Phi Phi islands with postcard beaches like Maya Bay. From here, you start from Ferrys by speedboat for a more than half a day excursion where you are offered food included in the tour price. It's a modern port where homes are now being built meaning there are boat moorings and really quite impressive complexes with places to eat. The routes vary by destination, but a ferry to the Phi Phi islands can last an hour and a half. It leaves at 8:30 and 13:30. There are obviously other ways to get to these destinations, like various jetties catching a longtail, but it's better to do a guided tour, with food and everything organized. For more information, you can visit the website at this Annex spot. Greetings.

If you are going to or coming from Koh Tao you have to do it by boat. The port of Koh Tao is on the eastern side of the island in the Jamson bay before getting to Sai Ree Beach. This port is dedicated to bringing hikers and travellers to the island but also to move diving enthusiasts to many points around to practice the sport. You can see contemporary boats and other old painted boats in the brightest colors possible. You can see a huge merchant ship . You'll also find many small and medium craft fishing as its people also use this port to supply the island.
Harbors in Trat
Ao Salad Port
(2)
To get to Koh Kood island in Trat province, southeast of Bangkok, the only way is by ferry or speedboat. Although there are other points of entry the most common is the Port of Ao Salad. A bay of blue waters, contrasting with the green of the vegetation of the island, from where you will see a figure of a big golden Buddha, you are greeted in the northwest of the island. A small spring in a village is the landing place where a van will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. If not, do not worry because you can find transportation at the pier to inspect the island and find your perfect place. A small wooden darsena leads you to some tourist info points and places to buy food, etc.., In small cabins of handmade brick and wood, this island still has the charm of the perfect haven to discover. Do not miss the chance to visit during your stay in Ao Salad. Every day you can see how the boats bring the fish to the island. It is possible, if your accommodation allows, to buy some fish or seafood. On the island there are modest and good people. My advice, buy a lot and I suggest having a barbecue lunch on the beach with the sunset. You will not regret it! The small port of Ao Salad is surely the gathering place for locals largest on the island. It is at this point that you realize that Koh Kood is still an undiscovered paradise!, But this ... I'll tell you in another corner.
