In August I was in Jamaica, in the village Negril, Riu Tropical hotel with the beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters, friendly and happy people. I went to the Black River, to see the mangroves and crocodiles that inhabit these mangroves. Some of the Jamaicans favourite words are; yeah man, i will go, and no problem.
A curious river that flows south of Jamaica, near the town of the same name, Black River. About 500 crocodiles live here, and without a problem they will come up to the tourist boats to say hello. The striking thing about this river is the color, it's completely black as the name suggests.
Martha Brae River is in the region of Trelawny, a few kilometers from the town of Falmouth and you can access a point on the river where we took a romantic bamboo boat ride which we steered ourselves. It was a fun experience.
