A little park to relax and enjoy the views. It is worth climbing up it.

Viewpoint of Mdina
To get to this point you have to cross from one end of the city to the other, and certainly when you arrive you will see people sitting on the benches enjoying the fresh air and the scenery. It is a highly recommended area, and I do not think there are many places on the island where you can see the horizon in the same way as you can here.

Mirador Qrica Rock-bahía San Blas -
From this viewpoint you can see for miles and down below there's a small beach, a creek with beautiful clear blue water and the small fishing village of Rigor. Corners like this overflow in Gozo. Luckily tourist exploitation has not yet arrived here. That is why today traveller can enjoy these wonderful, untainted spectacles. Me, being from the Spanish Mediterranean, see the big difference between "their" costs and "mine" .... It is difficult to reach by public transport, it is best to hire a buggy to come here and visit hundreds of places that this little island has to offer that wouldn't be accessible otherwise.

Viewpoint on Ghadira Bay
The adjective "lookout" is perfect to describe this place ... ;-), which is actually not a formal viewpoint, as in it isn't marked or anything. Just behind the impressive Parish Church of Mellieha, next to the cemetery, there is a small clearing and a park with swings for children. The site is quite exposed and is located right at the apex of a hill. It is really high compared to the sea that is near. The park itself has a small stone wall and as perfect for people coming to pose for a picture with Ghadira Bay as a backdrop. Moreover, apart from the overview of this shell-shaped bay, it is noteworthy that the view is obtained, zoom pulling on the nearby island of Gozo and the stamp of houses "yellowish" of neighborhoods that overlook Mellieha the bay, a very characteristic and peculiar stamp of Malta, that eye, but has a lot of charm. To sum it up, Ghadira Bay is a fantastic and unexpected viewpoint, which costs nothing to approach after visiting the main church in Mellieha. It is such a delight for the eyes and for the senses and the photo with the perched on the parapet, almost ready. Also for those that get bored in places that are just known for good views, it has a solution because it offers the possibility to relive childhood memories on the swings ;-).
