The Cap Corse is a unique and indispensable Pareje whether to visit Corsica. It is a peninsula 40 miles long and 10 miles wide that is full of maquis (is the typical vegetation of the island, consisting of small shrubs of a deep yellow color) and comes in Corsica like a giant finger that is pointing to the French Riviera. It is known as the island within the island and has some stunning rugged landscapes and wildlife. The best thing you can know is thatthis area is completely private, cars going down the road and stopping at each location, because they all have incredible magic and seems to have been taken from a children's story in which there are princes and princesses. Noted for its beauty, as it is the most attractive locations throughout the Western Cape coast. Nonza is guarded by a fortified tower and consists of several stone houses that look set to fall at any time down the steep slope to the depths of the bay. The streets are cobblestone and make the visitor FEEL that the whole town is stone. Narrow and steep, pedestrian-only since no car can access them. In the center of the village there is a beautiful fountain that is crowned by a bust of omnipresent Pascal Paoli, the most famous revolutionary of Corsica. The surroundings are spectacular greenery, particularly at the time we went, April.
